“It also integrates with our property management system – Opera – which means guests can enjoy treatments without having to set up a separate account as everything is charged straight to their bedroom.”

However, it is not just Premier that makes a real difference to the spa as Hida explains: “I have been the spa manager for almost a year and when I joined I had never used Premier before, but the support team have helped me through the transition with relative ease.

“No matter what the query or issue, the support team have been fantastic. Previously I would have waited days for a response but since using Premier, the response is almost instantaneous, and if they can’t provide a solution there and then, I am given a timeframe as to when I can expect a response.”

All Premier clients are offered a support package and with a system that has so many functions and over 400 different reports, a quick response time is essential to minimise any impact to the guest experience.

“Premier is a hotbed of information. All our guests and members’ details are securely held in one place which enables the spa and management teams to pull a range of data to suit the spa’s needs,” says Hida.

“This could be end-of-day reports, right through to banking reports and membership payments.

“It also enables the team to track member visits, guest treatments, classes booked and retail spend which enables us to tailor offers and promotions. Once the information is uploaded, it is easy to set a certain criteria to pull the data through.

“There is a function for almost everything and I am still learning so there are still a lot of reports and functions I have yet to fully utilise. However, I know when I have the time, Premier’s support team will be on hand to take me through what I need to know, which is invaluable,” says Hida.
