With a world-renowned cityscape and glorious beaches, Dubai makes for a fascinating visit. With so much to see and do, you will likely need a place to stay overnight and relax. Here are just some of the most exciting places to visit in Dubai, as well as three of the most luxurious hotels and spas.
The City of Dubai
The city offers impressive choreographed dancing fountains, international boutiques, and even an Underwater Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo in the Dubai Mall. The Internet City provides an intriguing look into Dubai’s own Silicon Valley, whilst the eastern Bastakia Quarter offers a historical look at Arabian architecture.
Nikki Beach Resort & Spa
If you’re after a nearby stay, the Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Dubai is a panoramic retreat of sun, sand and sea on the Pearl Jumeirah waterfront. Each of its 117 rooms and 15 ultra-deluxe villas feature a mood light system, with some offering private pools to dip into. The resort even provides a Nikki Spa.
The Burj Khalifa
Towering above the sun-kissed buildings stands the Burj Khalifa – an 829.8-metres-tall landmark complete with extravagant gardens at it base and an observation deck up top. Flying to the top is no problem with its high-speed lift, and it’s worth it to view the incredible city vista.
The Burj Club
Based in the Burj Khalifa, the Burj Club offers spectacular views of Downtown Dubai. Its spa offers hydrating 30-minute facials whilst its gym provides state-of-the-art equipment and plush sun beds. If that wasn’t enough, the rooftop provides both culinary delights and panoramic views of Dubai.
Jumeriah Beach
Sun-bathe to your heart’s content on the white sands of Jumeriah Beach. South of the sands sits Kite Beach, if action is more your thing – a renowned location for kite surfing and water sports. The residence of the late ruler Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed al-Maktoum also stands nearby, crafted from coral-block and Gypsum.
InterContinental Dubai Marina
Close to the Jumeriah Beach sits the InterContinental Dubai Marina, featuring social rooms, restaurants and a gallery complete with contemporary sculptures. Favouring high-art architecture, the Marina is a delight for the senses, whether you’re relaxing in the indoor pool or enjoying the health club and spa.
