For example, many therapists are not confident in treating those with cancer, but Made For Life’s course provides the education and confidence needed to ease concerns. However, the Cancer Touch Therapy™ course is accredited by the Complementary Medical Association (CMA) and approved by the Standard Authority for Touch in Cancer Care (SATCC), BABTAC and CIBTAC, making it easier for spas to gain the insurance required.
What is involved in the Cancer Touch Therapy™ course?
Made For Life’s Cancer Touch Therapy™ is a fully accredited programme that can be completed on-site or remotely via Zoom. Encompassing six modules that test theory and practical skills, the course educates spa therapists in the five main categories of cancer, how consultations can be inclusive, and what treatments can be adapted. This ensures therapists understand what is needed to help those diagnosed with cancer, and carry out Made for Life Cancer Touch Therapy™ treatments correctly.
