Spa Life UK Competition Terms and Conditions

1. The Promoter

The Promoters are: Premier Software part of Journey Hospitality of 9-11 Heritage Park, Hayes Way, Cannock, WS11 7LT (company number: 02944073), and Journey Hospitality of Elmstone Business Park, Elmstone Hardwicke, Cheltenham, GL51 9SY (company number: 07413674).

2. The competition

2.1. Competition title

The title of the competition is ‘Your Chance to Put Cancer-Diagnosed Clients in Safe Hands’.

2.2. Competition entry requirements

To enter, participants must attend Spa Life UK on 2nd-4th July 2023, scan the QR code present at Journey Hospitality’s stand, and enter the applicable details in the online form.

3. Participant(s)

The contact details of each Participant must be registered. By entering, the Participant receives a chance to win and agrees that the Promoters can use their contact details.

4. How to enter

4.1. Competition duration

The competition will run from the opening of Spa Life UK, at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday 2nd July (the ‘Opening Date’) to the closing of the event, 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday 4th July 2023 (the ‘Closing Date’).

4.2. Competition entry deadline

All competition entries must be received by the Promoter no later than 5:00 p.m. on the Closing Date. All entries received after the Closing Date and time will be automatically disqualified.

4.3. Competition entry

To enter the competition, Participants will be required to:

    (a) Attend Spa Life UK 2023

4.4. No purchase necessary

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

4.5. Entry submissions

The Promoter will not accept competition entries if:

The competition entry is lost, mislaid, damaged or incomplete, regardless of cause. This includes, for example, the result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

4.7. Judging Criteria

Competition entries will be placed into a digital system, which will then select the winner at random. The winning entry will be drawn by the end of the Spa Life UK 2023 event.

5. Eligibility

5.1. Competition residents

The competition is eligible to all spa therapist residents in the UK aged 18 years and over, except: employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies; Members of the immediate families or households od the Promoter.

5.2. Eligibility to enter

In order to enter the competition, you confirm that you are eligible and eligible to claim any prize that may be awarded. The Promoter may require proof of eligibility in order to enter the competition.

5.3. Invalid entries

The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:

    (a) Completed by third parties;
    (b) Have been altered, forged or tampered with;
    (c) Incomprehensible or incomplete.

5.4. Multiple entries

Only one entry is eligible per each named spa therapist. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.

5.5. Disqualification

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of this prize competition.

6. The prize

6.1. Number of prizes

The prize is for free training in Made for Life Organics’ course in Cancer Touch Therapy™. This is only applicable for one person. Made for Life Organics terms and conditions apply. The prize does not include any travel expenses that may be involved, or food. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner.

6.2. Prize substitution

There is no cash alternative for the prize.

6.3. Prize supplier

The prize is supplied by Made for Life Organics (the ‘Supplier’).

6.4. Prize substitution

The prize is non-negotiable or transferable.

7. Winner

7.1. Final decision

The decision of the Promoter or the randomized method used to select the winner are nominated by the Promoter and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

7.2. Contact the winner

The Promoter will contact the winner via the details provided in the competition entry form as soon as is practical after the winner is chosen.

7.3. Publishing winner

The Promoter may publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, the Promoter may publish the winner’s name and business they operate at via social media and subscriber newsletter.

8. Claiming the prize

8.1. Third-party claims

The prize cannot be claimed by a third party on your behalf.

8.2. Claiming the prize

If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 90 days of the Announcement Date, then the Promoter reserves the right to remove the offer of the prize.

8.3. Redeeming the prize

Winners must redeem the training for Cancer Touch Therapy™ outlined in the prize within 12 months of claiming.

8.4. Promoter not responsible

The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

9. Limitation of liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors (whether acting in their individual capacity or as part of a group) or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

10. Ownership of competition entries and intellectual property rights

10.1. Competition entry

All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt and will not be returned.

10.2. Competition properties

By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:

    (a) Assign intellectual property assign to the Promoter all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and
    (b) waive all moral rights, in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.

10.3. Entry data

You agree that the Promoter may, but is not required to, make your entry available on its website [www.premiersoftware.co.uk], social media platforms and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You agree to grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide (for a period of 5 years), irrevocable licence to use, display, publish (including transmitting and copying), copy (including altering), store (including re-formatting) and sublicense the competition entry (including any accompanying materials for such purposes).

11. Data protection and personal information

The entrants personal data provided to the Promoter, will be collected and processed by the Promoter, in order to administer and fulfil the Promotion. The Promoter will only process personal information as set out in the Privacy Policy. If the entrant chooses to opt-in to future marketing, the Promoter will use the entrants personal data for marketing purposes (see our Privacy Policy for more details). You can opt out at any time. See also condition 7.3. with regard to the announcement of winners.

12. General

12.1. Breach of terms

If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at is sole discretion, suspect or terminate your participation in the competition.

12.2. Promoter’s right

If it becomes necessary to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to void, suspect, cancel or amend this prize competition.

12.3. Governing law

These terms and conditions are governed by English law. All parties involved in the competition agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.

If you are a business, these terms of use, their subject matter and their formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
