Get inspired as we share just some of the most tarantula-ising looks!
Ghoulish Halloween makeup
Amongst this year’s top Halloween makeup is the Cruella De Vil look, making use of extravagant eye-shadow, crimson lips and bold blusher. If you’re looking to go for the full scare and make-up effect, why not follow @maquillajesartisticosunicos’s lead by making sure all eyes are on you as a spider… or should that be all your eyes on everyone else? Alternatively, how about trying a seductive look as Poison Ivy from the Batman series, made possible with an array of greens and reds?

Halloween Hair-raisers
Two-tones and vibrant colours make up 2020’s top Halloween hair! Autumn reds and midnight blacks have dominated Instagram, pushing colour in favour of extravagant styles. That’s not to say there aren’t those still about too – check out the spiderweb pattern crawling up the neck of @goldenhour.hairco below.

Bloodthirsty Halloween nails
From understated ghosts to ghoulish pumpkins, 2020 conjures up plenty Halloween nail art looks to try out! For those who want to keep it simple and subtle, you could try cute, white ghosts atop block colours. For others wanting their nails to be the highlight, then a large, more intricate design that spreads across all talons will certainly do the trick, as shown by @thalyanails. Or, If that’s too much and a bit of sparkle is needed, then night skies behind black cats create an eery look, as shown below.

Spooky Halloween accessories
One thing that makes Halloween special is the accessories and props that bring your look to life. It could be as simple as a headscarf and crystal ball to convey that fortune-teller-witch-vibe, or glamourous pearls and tiara to bring an existing character to life (literally), such as a dead Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany’s. If you or clients are feeling adventurous, why not try hiding skulls in pale hair to give that extra fright, or fake bats in darker hair for a spooky surprise?
