Making history
In January the UK beauty industry has made history by achieving sector-specific government representation.
After working tirelessly to give the sector visibility and credibility, this is a huge step for the UK’s personal care sector. Congratulations to the British Beauty Council, UK Spa Association (UKSA), British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (BABTAC), and The National Hair and Beauty Federation (NHBF) on their successful lobbying.
Former UKSA GM and new COO of British Beauty Council, Helena Grzesk, says: “It clearly demonstrates the newly attained credibility, reputation and valued economic contribution we’ve worked so hard to highlight."
