We attended the Irish Spa Association’s spring event on Wednesday 24th May!
Having taken place in Cork, the event saw spa professionals from all around the UK and Ireland come together alongside guest speaker, Sue Harmsworth MBE. We even managed to show our support by sponsoring the event and handing out our sweet-smelling hand sanitisers in partnership with Made for Life Organics.
The ISA event was a huge success and we enjoyed meeting everyone who attended.
13 HOTELIERS AWARDED INNHOLDER STATUS
Following applications, 13 new hoteliers have been awarded Innholder status, including those part of the Premier family at Crerar Hotels.
The award is presented to those who have demonstrated leadership within the hotel industry. Other hotels include Pan Pacific London, Hand Picked Hotels, The Goring, and Devonshire Hotels and Restaurant Group Limited, amongst others.

NEW REPORT REVEALS HOSPITALITY EMPLOYMENT BENEFITS
Hospitality employees in the UK have received an average pay rise of 9.5% over the past year.
These statistics come from the latest Hospitality Hiring Insider report from Caterer.com. The new report also reveals how hospitality employers are attracting and retaining staff. These details come from a recent report by small business advice service, Informi. They revealed that many salon operators and those working in hair and beauty are not claiming expenses for materials, tools, rents and vehicle costs for mobile therapists.
“Many don’t realise the various costs which can be negated via allowable expenses. These are essential costs that help keep a business running, that businesses don’t have to pay tax on,” confirmed Huw Moxon, marketing manager at Informi.
