How to spread the love on Valentine’s Day and beyond

Spreading the love and pumping up your profit doesn’t have to stop once Valentine’s Day is over. With some careful planning, you can extend Valentines to the rest of the month, catching clients who were unable to do anything on the big day.

Why not turn February into the month of love with get hearts fluttering with these top tips?

 

Love box

A box full of treats – what’s not to love? If you make sure the treats are a selection of sweet-smelling hair products, facial cream and nice chocolates, you’ll shift some of your retail as well as provide a unique Valentine’s gift box for both him and her.

Partner packages

Encourage couples in for treatment packages. February is all about sharing, so vamp up a facial and massage to something they can enjoy together. As spa days and massages are amongst the most sought-after Valentine’s experience, why not give clients what they want with a couple’s massage?

Social media love

Share the love by ensuring your clients feel appreciated! Thank them for their most recent visit through SMS or even publicly on social media. Chances are they’ll come back before the month’s out, especially if you provide a bounce back voucher.

Promote single treatments

Some clients will be single for Valentine’s, meaning not all clients will be hit by Cupid’s arrow. But being single on Valentine’s shouldn’t mean missing out. Show clients your love with indulgent additions to usual treatments, such as extended hand and arm massages during manicures to pamper every inch.

Share your heart

Chances are, you’ll have clients who still don’t know what to get their significant others. Gift vouchers make for the perfect solution, encouraging partners into your salon and expanding your client base. A quick SMS or social media post will spread the message, making sure February stays busy after the big day.
