One of the features that makes Core by Premier Software® stand out from its competitors is its unparalleled business reporting system. With over 400 reports to choose from, you can keep a finger on the pulse of your business in real-time. Here, we highlight just a handful of business reporting options available to outline areas of growth in your spa or leisure club.
Business performance
One of the newest business reporting additions to Core is its Performance report. This is a great option if you are looking for a complete overview of your business at the touch of a button. The sheet consolidates all business activity when compared to the previous year. It provides details of either revenue generated or forecasted for a given period, which can be displayed through a monthly or daily account.
Memberships
If you are looking to measure membership retention rates, Core’s Members Monthly Overview report is one to watch. This business reporting tool provides an overview of this month and last month, compared to the same dates last year. You can see the source of referral, which membership types are most popular and how clients pay. Core’s Membership Hours Analysis also reveals busy and quiet periods.
Treatments or classes
Perhaps you want to review margins across the business. By inputting costs for staff time or stock used or other items, you can see profit margins for everything from treatments and classes to retail and vouchers in Core’s Trading Summary report. This may highlight areas where to make changes or price increases.
Stock
To measure stock revenue, look for Core’s Stock Best Sellers and Stock Sold by Staff reports. Each of these will display your top 10-100 retail items. You can see what products sold well and who sold the most, enabling you to structure incentives. If you are trialling a new brand you can also see how it is performing against current labels with the Stock Sold by Manufacturer report.
Staff
If you are examining staff performance, Core’s Staff Snapshot report has the answers. Here, you can tell how much time a member spent with the client, what type of treatments they carried out, the value of the appointments completed, what products they sold, the value of their retail sales and the split between the two. This report also provides all the details required to get involved in the UK Spa Association’s benchmarking.
Promotions
To decipher which marketing promotions were a success, use Core’s Discounts Given report. Once your promotional pricing has been set, this report will reveal which promotion had the highest redemption and with who. As a bonus, it will also display how many discounts were given for non-promotional items such as a manager override, outlining areas where revenue is lost.
