As of 25th May 2018, there are new laws coming into force. GDPR is a European Union law which aims to protect and unify the sharing of personal data within the EU. Once in place, it will help to create more transparency for what data is kept, how it is stored and what it is used for.
If you are not compliant you could receive a fine up to 4% of your annual revenue or up to €20 million (whichever is higher).
This may seem scary, but that’s why we are here – to help reassure you and supply you with the tools to support you being GDPR compliant.
Premier Software’s GDPR guide helps to advise you of what the new law means and what you can do to become compliant. Inside the booklet you will find:
- Rights of the individual under GDPR
- Who is responsible for what under GDPR?
- What data will be affected?
- Gaining consent
- Children
- Becoming GDPR compliant
- The 30-day rule
- Security
- Training.
