Letting clients know you are still supporting them by working behind the scenes will make sure business keeps moving. Even with your doors closed, there are still plenty of things you can do to help out your clients. Here are four more ways to beat the coronavirus and keep you open for business:
1: Off-peak appointments
No doubt, clients will want to book appointments for when you do re-open your doors. When this inevitably happens, try to book them during off-peak hours. That way, you will free up your peak hours for bookings once you re-open, whilst making sure the quieter hours will continue to be busy.
2: Create competitive prices
Are your competitors providing products and, if so, what are their prices? Now is the perfect time to re-evaluate your product prices for the current climate, as well as your service prices for your re-opening. After all, keeping an eye on competitor costs and your own helps to plan ahead in the current climate.
3: Provide add-ons
Don’t be surprised if bookings do eventually drop off – people will likely want to spend less and less in these uncertain times. However, you can incentivise bookings with offerings of a free bottle of wine with a manicure or body lotion with a full body massage. That way, you offer value to your services and make them even more appealing.
4: Host remote sessions
With a decent webcam hooked with online streaming and broadcasting, you could host how-to classes. That means videos on how to remove gel nails, makeup and even yoga, are all going to keep you at the top of clients’ minds. The videos will also provide clients with something to do at home with ease.
